The Industrial Foams produced by Mannes can be divided into two large groups, Expanded and Injected Foams.
Block
Mannes sells expanded foam blocks measuring 5.00 m x 1.90 m x 1.10 m in various densities and models as follow:
Master
Available in densities ranging from D10 to D45 – Used in upholstery and mattress industries, among others
Soft
Available in D15, D18, D20, D23, D26, D28, D30 and D35 densities - Used in upholstery and mattress industries, among others for providing a smoother touch to the final finish of the product;
Hiper Soft
Available in D23 - Used in upholstery and mattress industries, among others;
Anti-Flame
Available in D23, D28, D33 and D40 densities- used in the automotive and civil construction industries;
Self-Extinguishing
Available in D28 and D33 densities – used in the special manufacturing of equipment that works under high temperatures such as electric motors and compressors;
Foams with Support
Available in 30SP40, 40SP60, 50SP70 and 40SP80 densities – used in orthopedic beds and truck beds;
D26 and D28 soft foam – used for covering furniture and automobile seats;
D26 and D28 soft foam – used for covering furniture and automobile seats;
Special Foams
Expanded Visco and Natural Latex – used in finishes for mattresses and high line upholstered furniture and car seats.
Laminated
The laminated foams are produced in the same densities as the expanded foams in block, in the dimension of 5.00m x 1.90m with a starting thickness of 0.8mm (0.008 meters). They are frequently used in the furniture and packaging industries and sold in retail stores.
Regular pre-cut
Regular pre-cut pieces in expanded foam are largely used by hermetic seal manufacturers, packaging industries and furniture industries, and can be produced in all densities and sizes according to customer specifications, enabling serial production. The pieces are available in 2 cm minimum thickness, 30 cm minimum length and 30cm minimum width, pieces measuring less than these dimensions must be requested through the representative in the region.
Irregular pre-cut
Irregular pre-cut pieces in expanded foam are largely used for sale in retail, in helmet industries and in the manufacture of thermal bags. Available in various densities or sizes or irregular shapes - ray, rounded with indent, among others – as specified by customer.
Laminated
Circular laminated sheets produced through cylindrical rolls with a starting thickness of 3mm. The laminated rolls are mainly used in the manufacture of shoes, handbags and by packaging industries.
Modeled Foam
Assembles pieces in different densities and shapes, according to customer need. It is frequently used for seats and seat backs in buses and the furniture industry.
Injected
The injected foam pieces come in varying densities, shapes and technical characteristics according to customer specifications and are largely applied in the automotive and furniture industries.
